Red Bull Cope’n’waken 2024

Red Bull Cope’n’waken returns, and this year it will be wilder than ever. Perhaps you remember that the Red Bull Cope’n’waken has previously visited Ved Stranden and Frederiksholms Kanal, but now it is the pool in Gammel Strand’s tour. The pool between Højbro and Stormbroen gives the athletes a larger area that they can frolic in than in previous years and this means that they can go higher and wilder than ever before on the various obstacles.

Red Bull is ready to transform Gammel Strand into the wildest cable car for the Danish and international wakeboard elite, who last visited seven years ago – so I wonder if the time has come again? On a 150 meter long track with rails and kickers, the wakeboard riders will be pulled at up to 30 kilometers per hour and perform their most acrobatic tricks.

With his background in windsurfing, this year’s host, Joakim Ingversen, is not at all unknown on the water, so he is ready on 3 August to give you a taste of the experience.
